Balayage, foils, or both
Balayage is painted by hand onto the surface of the hair, which gives a soft, gradual brightness that grows out without a hard regrowth line. Foils lift more evenly and give a brighter, more defined result. Most heads of hair do best with some mix of the two, and that judgment call is exactly what you're paying an experienced stylist for.
Living on the Gulf, our guests' hair sees real sun and salt water for a good part of the year. We factor that in: where the light naturally hits your hair, how fast it drifts warm, and how much brightness you can keep without wrecking the condition of your ends.
What to expect at your appointment
Dimensional color takes time to do well. Your appointment includes the consultation, the painting or foil work, processing, a toner or gloss to land the final shade, and a finish so you leave seeing the result the way it's meant to look. First visits for balayage typically run longer than a touch-up, so tell us it's your first time when you book and we'll set aside the right block.
Between full appointments, a toner or gloss visit keeps the shade fresh, and a good trim keeps the ends clean. Your stylist will tell you honestly how long you can stretch it.
